Small town of 190 inhabitants, according to 2006 register, with 56 men and 63 women; Located in the south western slope of Sierra Nevada, between the River Torrente and the Barranco del Pleito. It is located at an altitude of 869 meters, is 3 km from Talará.
Its resources are mainly agricultural: olive trees, almonds, cherries, quinces, although it owns a tile and brick factory in the confluence of the Barranco del Pleito with the River Torrente.
